Summer haircut

Summer has started so we thought it would be fitting to give Camden a summer haircut. He was in a need of a trim and based upon his last haircut experience, we were a little nervous how this one would go. The last one Derrick gave him started out well with Camden asking to get his hair cut. After 2 cuts with razor Camden decided he wasn't into it but the damage was already done. I had to end up holding Camden down so that Derrick could finish. We finally ended that hair cut as best as could be after what seemed like hours of screaming, Camden throwing up due to hair getting in his mouth, and lots of gagging. Now you probably understand more why we were so nervous on how this one would go. We came home from the park Monday night and persuaded Camden to get his hair cut with the promise of a Popsicle afterwards if he did well. Camden did GREAT this time. We kept telling him how good of a job he was doing and we also left him keep his nuk in this time to avoid gagging and throwing up.
Camden ended up with a cute short haircut and he is now ready for summer to begin. If you were wondering what is on Camden's forehead it is a scrape that he got from Monday night from chasing the basketball. Camden thought the basketball had stopped but quickly found out when he leaned over to pick it up that it was still moving. His fall was in slow motion for but for reason he still got a huge scrape on his forehead and nose. What a little bruiser we have!!
While Camden got his haircut, Jaxsen enjoyed hanging out on the deck playing in the water left from the pool. It is so hard to believe that Jaxsen will be 8 months tomorrow.
Here is Jaxsen's inch worm crawl. He has started moving - slowly but surely. It won't be long now before he is keeping me on the move!!
