We are excited to announce that we were able to make $2,000 at our yard sale that we had in Lancaster this weekend. All of the proceeds will go towards our adoption costs. We were so blessed with awesome donations from so many friends and family. I don't think things could have gone better. Honestly we were getting a little bit stressed once Thursday night rolled around and our garage/barn was packed full. We kept asking ourselves, what will we do with all this if things don't sell. Thank you to everyone who donated items, helped promote our yard sale, came out and supported us, and especially to those of you who gave up your Saturday morning to help us set up, check people out, and tear down. We love you all and feel so blessed. Once again we are one step closer to our babe. Thank you again from the bottom of our heart!
A Quick Update - We had our final homestudy meeting 2 weeks ago. Things went well and it was our best meeting yet. We have a few loose ends to wrap up before leaving for vacation but we are hoping that we will have our final report in the beginning of September. We are excited to reach the next stage of the process - waiting!
We are currently planning to hold another fundraiser in Greencastle in October (dates to be finalized in the next week or two). We are hoping to hold a dinner/barn party. We are also taking any additional orders for growth charts. If you would like one (see picture below) please send me a message. We can deliver around the Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Chambersburg areas. We are also willing to ship them as well however there will be additional fees for shipping depending on the area.
