And the grand total is....

Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, and assisted making our first yard sale for our adoption a success. The grand total raised for the yard sale, donations, and growth charts sold this weekend was........$806. It was well worth the hours that involved setting up, sitting outside, covering up things when the rain would come in, and tearing down. I owe a big thank you to my sister who let us use her garage and yard, to my mom and aunt who not only donated stuff but helped with setting up and maning the yard sale, and to my husband who helped pick up boxes of stuff to sell and also watched the boys so that I could focus on selling all the stuff we had to sell. Thank you also to Lauren who baked goodies to sell. It was so good to see friends who stopped by and supported us. We are planning on doing another yard sale at the end of the summer (date to be announced in the next few weeks) at our house in Lancaster. Please contact us if you have stuff that you would like to donate to the yard sale. We are looking for larger items that can bring in more money but will take whatever we can get. Our goal is to raise at least a $1,000 at the next yard sale. :)

We had our first homestudy today and we are scheduled to have our second one next Sunday. Things seem to keep moving along. Please continue to pray for peace over our minds as we go through this process. Honestly it is very overwhelming. We love seeing how much God is in this process and that encourages us to keep going even when opposition arises.
