Christmas time is here (or was here) Part I

A few weeks before Christmas, the boys and I spent the night at my parent's house (Pappy & Grammy). My mom wanted a picture of the boys together so we put them in their Christmas PJs and gave them icecream because honestly that is probably the only way we can get them to sit together at the same time. Here are some of the pictures we got.
Camden also enjoys playing the guitar at Pappy & Grammy's house. It is just a little guitar that they got my sister when she was younger. I wonder if we will have a little worshiper on our hands.
And then kisses from Matty (the boys' best friend) followed.
Due to being in Greencastle for most of Christmas each year we decided to start our own tradition this year and open our gifts with the boys on Christmas Eve morning. This reduced the number of gifts we had to transport to Greencastle and also let us celebrate just the 4 of us without being rushed from house to house. It was fun to wake up with the boys and open presents in our own home. Derrick and I haven't opened our own presents in our own house since our first year of marriage.

Poor Jaxsen was sick over Christmas. The Wednesday and Thursday before Christmas he had a fever of 100+ and a snotty nose. He was a trooper and still was ready to dive into presents but you could tell he didn't feel good by looking at his eyes.
