After opening our own presents that morning, we showered, packed our bags, and jumped in the car to make the trip to Greencastle. Usually we get together with my mom's side of the family Christmas Eve for supper and to exchange presents. Due to Aunt Amber having to work Christmas Eve night, we moved up our supper and presents to Christmas Eve afternoon. Since Camden had presents that morning, he was ready for more presents. He couldn't wait to open up all the presents that were waiting for him at my parent's house. We allowed him to open one present from Aunt Kay and Uncle Dwain before we ate. His first present (to share with Jaxsen) was a microphone. He loved singing, yelling, and talking into it.
Once we enjoyed the yummy supper of shrimp, sandwiches, dips, macaroni and cheese, and cookies, we sat around the living room and exchanged presents with everyone. The boys couldn't wait their turn so they opened most of their presents first while the adults waited. We were all truley blessed with the presents we received.
Jaxsen might not have felt well but he still LOVED Christmas and presents.
